Bisser Schinew

Bisser Schinew (born August 22, 1947 in Sofia , † March 24, 2009 in Radebeul ) was a Bulgarian theater director . He developed lung cancer in 2008 and died with his family a year later.

Life

He completed his first studies from 1966 to 1970, majoring in viola , as a qualified music teacher at the Bulgarian State Conservatory in Sofia . Music Theater - Director he has as a second study from 1972 to 1977 at the Nikolai Andreyevich Rimsky-Korsakov-Conservatory St. Petersburg completed. The graduation took place with the diploma production " Così fan tutte " at the State Opera Plovdiv . From 1977 to 2000 he was active in all Bulgarian State Operas. In between he made numerous guest appearances. This led him to the Semperoper Dresden in 1984, to the Stralsund Theater in 1988 , and to the Thuringian State Theater Rudolstadt in 1990 . In Rudolstadt he was then senior director of the music theater for five years, which was then dissolved. In the years to 2009, he was at various houses, Landestheater Detmold , Theater Trier and at the amphitheater active in Plovdiv.
