The Roman Catholic Diocese of Armenia ( lat. : Dioecesis Armeniensis , span. : Diócesis de Armenia ) is one in Colombia situated Roman Catholic diocese based in Armenia .
history
The diocese of Armenia was founded on December 17, 1952 by Pope Pius XII. Erected from cessions of territory by the Diocese of Manizales and the Apostolic Prefecture Chocó . It is subordinate to the Archdiocese of Manizales as a suffragan .
