Pablo Emiro Salas Anteliz

Pablo Emiro Salas Anteliz (born June 9, 1957 in Valledupar ) is a Colombian clergyman and Roman Catholic Archbishop of Barranquilla .

Life

The bishop of Valledupar , José Agustín Valbuena Jáuregui , ordained him a priest on December 2, 1984 .

Pope Benedict XVI appointed him Bishop of Espinal on October 24, 2007 . He received his episcopal ordination on December 2nd of the same year by the bishop of Valledupar, Oscar José Vélez Isaza CMF ; Co- consecrators were José Agustín Valbuena Jáuregui, Former Bishop of Valledupar, and Abraham Escudero Montoya , Bishop of Palmira . The inauguration in the diocese of Espinal took place on December 15 of the same year.

On August 18, 2014, Pope Francis appointed him Bishop of Armenia . The inauguration took place on October 11th of the same year. On November 14, 2017, Pope Francis appointed him Archbishop of Barranquilla.
