The Roman Catholic Diocese of Fidenza ( lat. : Dioecesis Fidentina , ital. : Diocese of Fidenza ) is in Italy situated Roman Catholic diocese based in Fidenza .
history
The diocese of Borgo San Donnino was established on February 12, 1601 by Pope Clement VIII with the Apostolic Constitution Super Universas and placed directly under the Holy See . On August 22, 1855, the diocese Borgo San Donnino with the Apostolic Constitution Vel ab antiquis was subordinated to the Archdiocese of Modena-Nonantola as a suffragan . The diocese of Borgo San Donnino was renamed on September 22, 1927 in the diocese of Fidenza .
