The Diocese of Ciudad Juárez ( Latin Dioecesis Civitatis Iuarezensis , Spanish Diócesis de Ciudad Juárez ) is a Roman Catholic diocese based in Ciudad Juárez ( Mexico ).
history
The diocese was founded on April 10, 1957 by Pope Pius XII. Erected with the Apostolic Constitution In similitudinem Christi from cessions of territory from the Diocese of Chihuahua . It was subordinated to the Archdiocese of Chihuahua as a suffragan .
