history

The diocese Ensenada was on January 26th 2007 by Pope Benedict XVI. established with the Apostolic Constitution Venerabiles Fratres from cessions of territory of the Archdiocese of Tijuana and the Diocese of Mexicali . It was subordinated to the Archdiocese of Tijuana as a suffragan .
