history

The diocese União da Vitória was on December 3, 1976 by Pope Paul VI. established with the Apostolic Constitution Qui divino from cessions of territory of the Archdiocese of Curitiba and the dioceses of Guarapuava and Ponta Grossa . It was subordinated to the Archdiocese of Curitiba as a suffragan .
