Agenor Girardi MSC (born February 2, 1952 in Orleans - † February 8, 2018 ) was a Brazilian religious and Roman Catholic bishop of União da Vitória .

Life

Agenor Girardi joined the congregation of the Sacred Heart Missionaries , made his profession on February 1, 1982 and was ordained a priest on September 5, 1982 .

Pope Benedict XVI appointed him on December 22, 2010 auxiliary bishop in Porto Alegre and titular bishop of Furnos Maior . The bishop of Palmas-Francisco Beltrão , José Antônio Peruzzo , ordained him episcopal on March 25 of the next year ; Co- consecrators were Dadeus Grings , Archbishop of Porto Alegre, and Fernando Panico MSC, Bishop of Crato . As a motto he chose AMETUR COR JESU .

Pope Francis appointed him Bishop of União da Vitória on May 6, 2015 .
