Bjarne Soegaard Madsen (born April 20, 1964 ) is a former Danish ice hockey player who has worked as a players' agent since 1997 .

Career

Madsen began ice hockey in 1968 and played in all Danish junior national teams from 1977 to 1982. From 1980 he was also a member of Vojens IK in the Danish elite league, with which he became Danish champions in the same year . In 1982 he was appointed to the squad of the Danish men's national team. In the same year he was thrown during a game against the gang and broke a cervical vertebra , which ended his sporting career.

As a quadriplegic , he then completed a degree in business law and was manager of the Vojens Hockey Club from 1990 to 1994. Since 1997 he has dedicated himself exclusively to the placement and support of players . His agency is based in Malmö, Sweden, and Providence in the United States . He advises players from numerous national leagues, such as the National Hockey League , Elitserien and the German Ice Hockey League . His clients include players such as Henrik Zetterberg , Peter Regin , Corey Locke , Kasper Degn , Mathis Olimb , Tore Vikingstad , Levente Szuper and Jeff Ulmer .
