Black Emanuelle (Original title: Emanuelle nera ) is an Italian sexploitation cult film by Bitto Albertini from 1975 . It is the first of a whole series of films (see Black Emanuelle ) based on the French film Emmanuelle , which was released a year earlier. The "Black Emanuelle", however, is the complete opposite of the original Emmanuelle from Just Jaeckin's film and the books by Emmanuelle Arsan , as it certainly does not require any sexual education.

The film is also known under the titles Emanuelle in Africa , Emanuelle's Holiday and Black Emanuelle - Wilde Ekstase .

The hedonistic , investigative photojournalist Mae Jordan, known as Emanuelle, travels to Nairobi , Kenya on behalf of her magazine to shoot pictures of the wildlife and landscape. She finds accommodation with the Danielis and falls in love with Gianni Danieli, but also experiences sexual adventures with Ann Danieli and Danielis friends Gloria Clifton and Richard Clifton, as well as a native. Later the protagonists go on a safari , where Emanuelle takes part in a tribal dance. In order to remain free and independent, she finally ends the relationship with Gianni and travels home. On the way back, she shares a wagon with an eleven-strong, lustful cricket team, which is not without consequences. For the hardcore version, individual scenes with doubles were shot later.
