Blair Spittal (born December 19, 1995 in Erskine ) is a Scottish football player who plays for Ross County .
Career
Blair Spittal began his football career in his hometown at the Erskine Boys Club , before moving to the city of Glasgow , around 15 km northwest of Erskine, at a young age . Initially active with the Glasgow Rangers , he was later on the ball for FC Queen's Park . At the age of 16, he made his debut in November 2012 for the first team of the Spiders in the fourth division match against FC Montrose . By the end of the 2012/13 season , Spittal, who was used as a midfielder, had 16 games and one goal in the league. In the following season 2013/14 he was a regular in the team of Gardner Speirs , who was sacked in December 2013, and his successor Gus MacPherson . He completed all 36 game days and was also quite accurate with eight goals. In the summer of 2014, the talented 18-year-old moved to the Scottish first division club Dundee United , with whom he signed a three-year contract. He made his debut for United on matchday three of the 2014/15 Scottish Premiership in a 6-1 away defeat by Celtic Glasgow when he was substituted on for Gary Mackay-Steven .
In June 2017 he moved to Partick Thistle .
