Oliver "Oli" Shaw (born March 12, 1998 in Edinburgh ) is a Scottish football player who is under contract with Ross County . He is the son of former soccer player Greg Shaw .

Oli Shaw was born in 1998 in Edinburgh , the capital of Scotland , as the son of former football player Greg Shaw . He began his career in the youth of Heart of Midlothian . In 2014, he joined the Hearts arch-rival at Hibernian Edinburgh as a teenager . On August 1, 2015, Shaw made his professional debut for the Hibs in the first round of the Scottish League Cup against FC Montrose when he came on for Alex Harris . For Shaw it was the only appearance on the professional team in the 2015/16 season. In July 2016, the young striker was loaned out to Scottish third division club FC Stenhousemuir . He played a total of 24 league games for the club in the 2016/17 season and scored seven goals. After his return to the Hibs in the summer break of 2017, he was regularly used for the club. He made his debut in the Scottish Premiership on October 28, 2017 in the game against Motherwell FC when he was substituted on for Simon Murray . On December 10, 2017, he scored his first goal in the highest Scottish league when he equalized in a 2-2 draw with Celtic Glasgow . By the winter break, he met two more times against Ross County and FC Kilmarnock . In January 2018, the club extended Shaw's contract to 2021.

In January 2020 he moved to Ross County.

National team

Oli Shaw played six times for the Scottish U-19 national team from 2016 to 2017 and scored one goal.
