Bloodrocuted is a Belgian thrash metal band from Brussels that was founded in 2010. The current headquarters of the group is in Eppegem .
history
The band was founded in 2010 by bassist Daan Swinnen and guitarist and singer Bob Briessinck in a cellar in Brussels. In 2012 the line-up was completed with the addition of guitarist Jason Bond and drummer Gaëtan De Vos. In 2013, the debut album Doomed to Annihilation was recorded and released in the same year. Six months after the publication, the demo Persecution of the Misanthrope followed, which has an edition of 100 copies. Since their first appearance in early 2012, the band had held over 50 concerts in Belgium, performing with Skeletonwitch , Havok , Hail of Bullets , Melechesh , Angelus Apatrida , Bonded by Blood , Hirax , Diablo Blvd , Mystifier and Darkness . The group had also played in the Netherlands and Germany . In summer 2014 work on the second album Disaster Strikes Back was finished. Then recording began in August and lasted two weeks. In 2015 the album was released under the name Disaster Strikes Back . The publication was followed by a European tour with Suicidal Angels , Dr. Living Dead! and Angelus Apatrida. Shortly after the tour De Vos left the cast, whereupon Sander Vogt took his place. The band then went on a tour of Great Britain , played at the Antwerp Metal Fest , performed together with Havok, Nervosa , Enthroned and Voivod and could be seen at the Metaldays in Slovenia . Ex-member Gaëtan De Vos died in February 2016. After two years of live activity, Briessinck and Vogt left the line-up in 2016, and were soon replaced by Ben Van Peteghem on drums and Dennis Wyffels on electric guitar. Completed in this way, the next album For the Dead Travel Fast was recorded, the release of which is planned for March 2017.

In the band biography on bloodrocuted.com , Suicidal Angels are named as the greatest and Havok and Fueled by Fire as further influences. Joxe Schaefer from crossfire-metal.de wrote in his review of Doomed to Annihilation that you can hear Thrash Metal that sounds influenced by Hardcore Punk . This is particularly noticeable “when the shouter and guitarist bark with their roaring voice in just one pitch, but get the message across”. In the songs, the band processed solos and occasional melodic passages. According to Christopher Santaniello from metal-observer.com , Disaster Strikes Back features modern Thrash Metal that borders on early Death Metal . In the songs the band put Tremolo - riffs and blast beats and processed thereby influences from Slayer , Morbid Angel and Demolition Hammer .
