Blumroth

Blumroth is a district of Welver in the Soest district . The district has around 50 inhabitants. Until it was incorporated on July 1, 1969, Blumroth was the smallest municipality in the district with its 650 acres (162.5 hectares). The very agricultural village probably got its name from one of the local farms, the Blumerhof , the ending -roth stands for clearing .
