Stocklarn is a district of the municipality of Welver in the district of Soest ( North Rhine-Westphalia ).
The agricultural place is a row village . A ring road runs around all the courtyards on both sides of the village stream. There is one full-time farm and six part-time farms. A meat and sausage production company, a carpenter's shop and an agricultural machine technician offer only a few jobs.
history
The place was mentioned in a document in 1289. On July 1, 1969, Stocklarn merged with other villages to form the new community of Welver.
Attractions
- The Protestant, listed Antonius Chapel is the historical center of the village. Stocklarn was the last parish to turn away from the Catholic faith in 1583. The half-timbered building was erected in 1722. The cemetery surrounding the chapel was occupied until 1882.
