Bo Helleberg

Bo Helleberg (born June 24, 1974 ) is a former Danish rower . He was four times world champion in the lightweight - two without a helmsman .

Athletic career

Bo Helleberg took third place in the lightweight two-man at the 1995 World Rowing Championships together with Thomas Ebert . The following year Helleberg and Ebert won the title at the World Championships in Glasgow . At the 1997 World Championships , Helleberg took seventh place with the lightweight eighth.

In 2003 he formed a lightweight two with Mads Kruse Andersen , who finished first and third in the Rowing World Cup . At the World Championships in 2003, the Danes won ahead of the German two-man, at the World Championships in 2004 they were able to win again, their lead over the Italian two-man was three tenths of a second. In 2005, Helleberg rowed again in twos with Thomas Ebert, and the two also won the title at the 2005 World Championships . In 2007 Helleberg rowed in the Danish lightweight four without a helmsman .
