Lucas Tramèr (* 1. September 1989 in Interlaken ) is a Swiss lightweight - rowers .

Career

Tramèr started rowing in 2003. In 2006 he entered the Junior World Championships with the four-man without a helmsman and finished eleventh. In 2008 Tramèr reached fifth place at the U23 World Championships with the lightweight quadruple scull . In 2009 he drove the lightweight four-man without a helmsman in the World Cup, and the four-man came ninth at the 2009 World Rowing Championships . In 2010, the Swiss four reached the A-finals in the World Cup twice. The European Rowing Championships in 2010 won Simon Schürch , Lucas Tramèr, Simon Niepmann and Mario Gyr the bronze medal at the World Championships in New Zealand , the boat missed the A-final and took a total of eighth place. In the next two years, the Swiss foursome reached the finals at the season's highlight: after finishing sixth at the 2011 World Rowing Championships, he was fifth at the 2012 Olympic Games .

In 2013 Niepmann and Tramèr switched to the lightweight two-man without a helmsman, at the European rowing championships in Seville in 2013 they won their first international title, followed by the world championship in Chungju, South Korea . In 2014 the two defended their titles at the European Championships in Belgrade and the World Championships in Amsterdam . In 2015 Niepmann and Tramèr returned to the foursome, together with Schürch and Gyr they won the titles at the European Championships in Poznan and at the World Championships on Lac d'Aiguebelette . At the European Championships in 2016 , the Swiss foursome was able to defend its title from the previous year. Four years after finishing fifth in London, the four Swiss also won the 2016 Olympic Regatta , at the finish they were almost one and a half seconds ahead of the Danes.
