Martin Kühner

Martin Kühner (born October 15, 1980 in Speyer ) is a German lightweight rower. In 2009 he became world champion in the four without a helmsman .

Martin Kühner starts like his twin brother Jochen for the RV Saarbrücken . In 2006 the two brothers were nominated as substitutes for the World Championships. In 2007 they won silver in the lightweight two-man. In 2008 they qualified together with Bastian Seibt and Jost Schömann-Finck with the lightweight four-man without a helmsman for the Olympic Games in Beijing.

In 2009 and 2010 he and his brother won the German championships in lightweight two-man without .

The 1.86 meter tall Martin Kühner is a police commissioner by profession.
