January Lüke (* 29. January 1989 in Georgsmarienhütte ) is a former German lightweight - rowers . He became world champion in the lightweight eighth at the 2010 rowing world championships . In 2009 he was trained by Martin Strohmenger, with Simon Berghofer, Robby Gerhardt and Daniel Wisgott in the lightweight four-man U23 world champion . In 2010 he came fifth in this boat.

Lüke has been rowing with Simon Berghofer since 2008, his club is the Limburg Club for Water Sports .
