Giuseppe Di Capua

Giuseppe Di Capua (born March 15, 1958 in Salerno ) is a former Italian helmsman in rowing . He won two Olympic gold medals and was a seven-time world champion.

Career

Giuseppe Di Capua was born in Salerno, but grew up in Castellammare di Stabia . For over a decade he steered the two-man with helmsman of the brothers Carmine Abbagnale and Giuseppe Abbagnale . At the 1992 Olympic Games and the 1993 World Championships, the three lost to the British brothers Jonathan Searle and Greg Searle with their helmsman Garry Herbert .
