Emilio Fontanella (born July 12, 1881 ; † unknown) was an Italian rower. He took part in the Olympic Intermediate Games in Athens in 1906 and started for the Bucintoro Venezia team , which was named after the Bucentaur , the representative ship of state of the Doges of Venice . Fontanella won a total of three gold medals in a two-man and four-man with helmsman and thus advanced to become one of the most successful athletes of the games.
