Dieter Arend (born August 14, 1914 ; † unknown) was a German rower . Together with Herbert Adamski and Gerhard Gustmann , he won the gold medal in two with a helmsman at the rowing competitions as a helmsman at the 1936 Summer Olympics in Berlin .
After he had also become German champion in two-man in 1936, Arend was able to win two more championship titles in four-man with helmsman in 1943 and 1944 .
