Joseph Schauers
Joseph "Joe" Anthony Schauers (born May 27, 1909 in Philadelphia , † October 18, 1987 there ) was an American rower .
In 1932 the two-man with helmsman of the Pennsylvania Barge Club qualified with Joseph Schauers, Charles Kieffer and helmsman Edward Jennings for the 1932 Olympic Games in Los Angeles. Since only four boats had reported, there were no preliminary runs. The US boat won six seconds ahead of the Poles, ten seconds behind the French won the bronze medal, ahead of the Brazilians who were beaten.
