Herbert Adamski

Herbert Adamski (born April 30, 1910 in Berlin ; † August 11, 1941 ) was a German rower from Berlin.

He came to rowing relatively late and achieved his first notable title in the 1936 Olympic year by winning the German championship in two with helmsman . Together with Gerhard Gustmann and helmsman Dieter Arend , he won the gold medal in two with helmsman at the 1936 Olympic Games in Berlin. In 1937 he won the European Championship with Gustmann and the new helmsman Günter Holstein , and in 1938 the three rowers came second in the European Championship.

Adamski and Gustmann were German champions four times in a row from 1936 to 1939, and in 1939 they also sat in the victorious four-man team.
