Warren Cole

Warren Cole (born September 12, 1940 in Palmerston North - † July 17, 2019 ) was a New Zealand rower , who at the 1968 Olympic Games in Mexico City in a foursome with helmsman with Dick Joyce , Dudley Storey , Ross Collinge and Simon Dickie ( Helmsman) won a gold medal. For this he was inducted into the New Zealand Sports Hall of Fame in 1990. At the 1972 Olympic Games in Munich , he finished sixth in the same discipline.

At the 1970 World Championships in Canada, he was third with the New Zealand eighth .

Cole worked for many years in the sales and marketing department of the National Dairy Association . He lived in Hamilton and was trading his own dairy equipment business.
