Ernst Gaber (rower)
Ernst Gaber (born June 6, 1907 in Mannheim ; † August 13, 1975 ) was a German rower who took part in the Summer Olympics in 1928, 1932 and 1936.
In 1928 he finished fifth with his team . In 1932 the German rowing team Karl Aletter , Walter Flinsch and Hans Maier won the silver medal with him in a four-man team. At the 1936 Summer Olympics in Berlin , the team, consisting of Hans Maier, Walter Volle , Paul Söllner and Friedrich Bauer, won the gold medal in the four with helmsman in a time of 7: 16.2 minutes.
Gaber was a member of the Mannheim rowing club Amicitia from 1876 .
