Torben Neumann

Torben Neumann (* 11. July 1991 ) is a German lightweight - rowers . His greatest successes are two victories at the world championships in 2014 and 2015 in the lightweight eighth .

At the U23 World Championships in 2013, Neumann rowed to fifth place with the lightweight four-man without a helmsman .

In the adult class, Neumann and Can Temel took fifth place in the lightweight two-man at the 2014 European Championships . At the 2014 World Championships, Temel and Neumann were among the victorious lightweight eighth. A year later, the German eight defended his title from the previous year with Temel and Neumann. At the 2015 Summer Universiade , Tobias Franzmann , Stefan Wallat , Neumann and Temel took second place in the lightweight foursome.

The 1.81 m tall Torben Neumann rows for the rowing club Allemannia from Hamburg from 1866 .
