Can Temel

Can Temel (* 1. October 1991 ) is a German lightweight - rowers . His greatest successes are two victories at the world championships in 2014 and 2015 in the lightweight eighth .

At the U23 World Championships in 2012, Can Temel and Tobias Franzmann took third place in the lightweight two-man without a helmsman , in 2013 Temel rowed into fifth place with the lightweight four-man without a helmsman .

In the adult class, Temel and Torben Neumann took fifth place in the lightweight two at the 2014 European Championships . At the 2014 World Championships, Temel and Neumann were among the victorious lightweight eighth. A year later, the German eight defended his title from the previous year with Temel as batsman . At the 2015 Summer Universiade , Franzmann, Stefan Wallat , Neumann and Temel took second place in the lightweight foursome.

The 1.79 m tall Can Temel rowed for the rowing club Allemannia from Hamburg from 1866 .
