Vittorio Torcellan

Vittorio Torcellan (* 9. August 1962 ) is a former Italian lightweight - rowers , who won from 1984 to 1989 six World Cup medals, including five gold medals.

The 1.82 m tall Torcellan took sixth place at the 1983 World Championships with the lightweight four without a helmsman . In 1984 Torcellan switched to the lightweight eighth , at the 1984 World Championships the Italians won the silver medal behind the Danish lightweight eighth. From 1985 to 1989 Vittorio Torcellan won five titles in a row by finishing eighth. At his last World Championship start in Tasmania in 1990 , Torcellan rowed the lightweight four-man to sixth place without a helmsman.
