Matthias Schömann-Finck (born March 5, 1979 in Bernkastel-Kues ) is a former German rower .

Schömann-Finck learned to row together with his brother Jost at the rowing company in Zeltingen . At the age of 24 he was his first international success by winning the bronze medal at the 2003 World Rowing Championships celebrate that he and Jörg Lehnigk , Nils Ipsen and Jens Wittwer in lightweight - quadruple sculls won. In the following years he was able to achieve further podium placements at world and European championships and in 2012 he traveled to the 2012 Olympic Games as a substitute athlete for the German Rowing Association .
