Fabrizio Ravasi

Fabrizio Ravasi (* 24. June 1965 in Milan ) is a retired Italian lightweight - rowers , the 1984-1995 ten World Cup medals, including seven gold medals won.

Athletic career

Ravasi rowed the lightweight eighth in 1984, which won the silver medal behind the Danish boat at the world championships . From 1985 to 1991, the Italian lightweight eighth won seven world titles in a row, with only Andrea Re and Fabrizio Ravasi taking part in all successes. The series ended at the 1992 World Championships when the Italian eighth finished fifth. After an interruption in 1993, there were two bronze medals with the eighth in 1994 and 1995.

Fabrizio Ravasi was 1.80 meters tall and had a typical competition weight of around 70 kilograms for lightweights .
