Luca Parlato (born June 25, 1991 in Vico Equense ) is an Italian rower . In 2013 he won the world championship in two with helmsman .

Luca started rowing in 2006. The 1.90 m tall rower competes for the Circolo Nautico Stabia association.

With the Italian eighth he won the bronze medal at the Junior World Championships in 2009 . In 2010 and 2011 he reached the B final at the U23 World Championships with eighth . Parlato also rowed into the B final at the European Rowing Championships in 2013 , again in eighth place. At the U23 World Championships in 2013, he won the title in four with a helmsman together with Vincenzo Abbagnale , Mario Cuomo, Massimiliano Rocchi and helmsman Andrea Kiraz. For the 2013 World Rowing Championships , Parlato and Abbagnale switched to two with helmsman Enrico D'Aniello ; in this no longer Olympic boat class they won the world championship title in front of the boats from Germany and France.

After a year off from competition, Parlato entered the 2015 World Cup in a four-man without a helmsman and in an eighth , but only reached the B-final. At the 2015 World Championships , he and Emanuele Liuzi and helmsman Andrea Riva took seventh place in the two with helmsman. In 2016 Parlato competed in the World Cup in Varese and finished tenth with the uncontrolled foursome. In 2017 Parlato rowed in the Italian eighth place, who finished eighth at the European Championships and seventh place at the World Cup finals in Lucerne. At the 2017 World Championships , the Italian eighth reached the A final and won the bronze medal there behind the Germans and the US rowers. At the 2018 World Championships , he finished fifth with eighth. Also in 2019 he started in the Italian eighth place and finished sixth at the European Championships and eleventh place at the World Championships .
