Bob Clendenin

Robert Treman "Bob" Clendenin (born April 14, 1964 in Newark , Ohio ) is an American actor .

Life

Clendenin graduated from Cornell University in 1986 and completed his master's degree in Fine Arts from Pennsylvania State University in 1990 .

Clendenin was best known for his portrayal of Carl Dawson in the series 10 Items or Less and the unsuccessful pilot episode of the Internet series Nobody's Watching . In Germany, it was mainly through his portrayal of the eccentric oncologist Dr. Paul Zeltzer in the American dramedy series Scrubs - The Beginner Notoriety.

In the series Cougar Town , which is also produced by Scrubs creator Bill Lawrence , he has a supporting role as a neighbor who is in love with the protagonist, played by Courteney Cox .

He has appeared in the role of various bizarre characters in several shows: Charmed - Magic Witches , Alles Betty! , The Roaring Seventies , Felicity , Weeds - Small Neighbors and Desperate Housewives Deals . He also appeared in the role of a Vidiian surgeon in an episode of Star Trek: Spaceship Voyager and can also be seen in the feature film Star Trek .
