Bobby Brantley
Bobby Lynn Brantley (born April 6, 1948 in Atmore , Escambia County , Alabama ) is an American politician . Between 1987 and 1991 he was lieutenant governor of the state of Florida .
Career
Nothing is known about Bobby Brantley's youth and schooling. He later embarked on a political career as a member of the Republican Party . In 1978 he became a member of the Florida House of Representatives . In 1986 Brantley was elected Lieutenant Governor of Florida alongside Bob Martinez . He held this office between 1987 and 1991. He was Deputy Governor . In 1990 he renounced another candidacy.
After the end of his tenure as Lieutenant Governor, Brantley withdrew from politics. Since then he has worked as a lobbyist for a law firm in Florida.
