Bodo Manegold (born October 4, 1948 ) is a former German local politician ( CDU ).

Bodo Manegold did an apprenticeship as a toolmaker at the Fritz-Werner-Werke and later graduated from high school . He became a graduate engineer and finally became a technical college professor for mechanical engineering at the Beuth University of Applied Sciences in Berlin . Today he is a lay preacher at the Buckow village church .

In the Berlin election in 1979 , Manegold was elected to the District Assembly (BVV) in the Neukölln district. Since the previous district councilor Wolfgang Hackel was elected member of the Bundestag, Manegold was elected as the new district councilor by BVV Neukölln in October 1980. After the 1995 election , he was elected district mayor of Neukölln by BVV Neukölln in December 1995 as successor to Hans-Dieter Meys (CDU) . Due to the early election in 2001 Manegold lost his office, his successor was Heinz Buschkowsky (SPD).
