Bornberg ( Bornbarg in Low German ) is a district of the municipality of Hechthausen in the joint municipality of Hemmoor in the Lower Saxony district of Cuxhaven .
geography
The place is between Hemmoor and Hechthausen on the federal highway 73 , which runs from Cuxhaven via Stade to Buxtehude .
The village consists of a restaurant and hotel, a sports field, and a few houses. It is located on a flat hill, surrounded by bog and marsh.
The Oste runs northeast at a distance of 2.5 km, and the Elbe is 17 km away, also northeast.
