Bradford Paul Cooper (born July 19, 1954 in Singapore ) is a former Australian swimmer .
He took second place in the 1972 Olympic Games in Munich over 400 m freestyle and thus won the silver medal. Later, however, the winner, the American Rick DeMont , was disqualified for taking an asthma drug illegally , so that Brad Cooper was subsequently declared the winner.
After the Olympic Games in 1972 he ended his career. In 1994 he was inducted into the international swimming pool 's hall of fame .
