Jack Medica
Jack Medica (born October 5, 1914 in Seattle , † April 15, 1985 in Carson City , Nevada ) was an American swimmer .
At the 1936 Summer Olympics in Berlin , he was Olympic champion in the 400 m freestyle . He also won over 1500 m freestyle and the silver medal with the American 4 × 200 m freestyle relay. In 1966 he was inducted into the international swimming pool 's hall of fame .
