Brambach is a village and part of the independent city of Dessau-Roßlau in Saxony-Anhalt .

geography

The place is seven kilometers west-southwest of Roßlau (Elbe) and eight kilometers northwest of Dessau . The neighboring towns are Wertlau in the north, Neeken in the northeast, Roßlau in the east, Ziebigk and Großkühnau in the southeast, Aken (Elbe) in the southwest, Rietzmeck in the west and Bias and Pakendorf in the northwest.

history

With effect from January 1, 2005, the municipality of Brambach lost its independence and was incorporated into the city of Dessau.
