Brigitte Scheithauer (born November 28, 1963 in Bexbach ) is a former German triathlete .

Career

Brigitte Scheithauer has been doing triathlon since 1989.

At the German Triathlon Championship she was third in the short distance in 1991 and 1996 and in 1992 she reached fourth place in the middle distance. Between 1992 and 1995 she won the Kalterer See Triathlon three times .

Brigitte Scheithauer was team world champion on the long distance triathlon in Nice in 1995.

Brigitte Scheithauer was married to the triathlete Peter Celba, who had an accident in 2010 in an avalanche.
