Brion is a town and commune Déléguée in the French commune of Les Bois d'Anjou with 1,205 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Maine-et-Loire in the region of Pays de la Loire .

With effect from January 1, 2016, the municipalities of Brion, Fontaine-Guérin and Saint-Georges-du-Bois were merged into a Commune nouvelle called Les Bois d'Anjou. The municipality of Brion belonged to the Arrondissement of Angers and the canton of Beaufort-en-Vallée .

geography

Brion is located in the northeast of the Maine-et-Loire department in an agricultural area that is also called Baugeois after the small town of Baugé . The place is part of the Loire-Anjou-Touraine Regional Nature Park .
