Les Bois d'Anjou is a French commune with 2,653 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Maine-et-Loire in the region of Pays de la Loire . It belongs to the Arrondissement of Saumur (until 2017: Arrondissement Angers ) and the canton of Beaufort-en-Vallée .
Les Bois d'Anjou was formed on January 1, 2016 as a commune nouvelle from the municipalities of Brion , Fontaine-Guérin and Saint-Georges-du-Bois . The administrative headquarters were initially in Fontaine-Guérin.

Les Bois d'Anjou is located about 24 kilometers east of Angers city center in the Baugeois . Les Bois d'Anjou is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Sermaise in the north and north-west, Baugé-en-Anjou in the north and north-east, La Lande-Chasles in the east, Longué-Jumelles in the south and east, Beaufort-en-Anjou in the south and south-west as well as Mazé-Milon in the west.
