Tuffalun is a French commune with 1,772 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Maine-et-Loire in the region of Pays de la Loire . It belongs to the Arrondissement of Saumur and the canton of Doué-la-Fontaine . Tuffalun was formed on January 1, 2016 as a commune nouvelle from the municipalities of Ambillou-Château , Louerre and Noyant-la-Plaine . The administrative headquarters are in Ambillou-Château.

Tuffalun is about 28 kilometers southeast of Angers city center . Tuffalun is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Gennes-Val-de-Loire in the north, Louresse-Rochemenier in the east and south-east, Doué-en-Anjou in the south and south-west and Brissac Loire Aubance in the west and north-west.
