Rou-Marson is a French municipality with 664 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Maine-et-Loire in the region of Pays de la Loire . It belongs to the Arrondissement of Saumur and the canton of Saumur (until 2015: canton of Saumur-Sud ). The inhabitants are called Roumarsonnais .
geography
Rou-Marson is located about six kilometers southwest of Saumur city center in the Saumurois . Rou-Marson is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Saumur in the north and east, Distré in the south and east, Les Ulmes in the south-west and Verrie in the west and north-west.
