Cizay-la-Madeleine is a French municipality with 464 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Maine-et-Loire in the region of Pays de la Loire . The municipality belongs to the Arrondissement of Saumur and the canton of Doué-la-Fontaine (until 2015: Canton of Montreuil-Bellay ). The inhabitants are called Cizéens .

Cizay-la-Madeleine is about twelve kilometers southwest of Saumur . Cizay-la-Madeleine is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Doué-en-Anjou in the north and west, Les Ulmes in the north and north-east, Courchamps and Le Coudray-Macouard in the east, Montreuil-Bellay in the south-east, Vaudelnay in the south and Brossay in the south-west.
