Blou is located about 40 kilometers east-southeast of Saumur in the Baugeois . Blou is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Saint-Philbert-du-Peuple in the north, Vernantes in the east and northeast, Neuillé in the south and southeast, Vivy in the south and Longué-Jumelles in the west.
