Souzay-Champigny is a French municipality with 761 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Maine-et-Loire in the region of Pays de la Loire . It belongs to the Arrondissement of Saumur and the Canton of Saumur . The parish is 6 km east of Saumur and consists of two settlements about two kilometers apart, Souzay and Champigny. The merger of the two places dates back to 1930. The municipality is part of the Loire-Anjou-Touraine Regional Nature Park .
