Louerre is a town une a commune Déléguée in the French community Tuffalun with 483 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Maine-et-Loire in the region of Pays de la Loire . The inhabitants are called Loriens .

With effect from January 1, 2016, the municipalities of Ambillou-Château , Louerre and Noyant-la-Plaine were merged into a Commune nouvelle called Tuffalun. The municipality of Louerre belonged to the Arrondissement of Saumur and the canton of Doué-la-Fontaine (until 2015: canton of Gennes ).
