In 2012, Grindhead Records released their debut album 04/12/12 , which was recorded at Goatsound Studios in Melbourne under the direction of Jason Fuller . The second album II was released on the same label in 2015 . The band has been with Beastwars , Monarch! , Blood Duster , Psycroptic , King Parrot , Captain Cleanoff and could also be seen at festivals such as the Bloodrock Fest in Perth or the Comafest in Sydney.

style

According to Brian Giffin in his Encyclopedia of Australian Heavy Metal , the band plays heavy, technically somewhat demanding sludge. Robyn Morrison from heavymag.com.au found in his review of II that the band has more in common with bands like Exhorder or Autopsy than with Acid Bath . Particularly noticeable in the songs is the bass, which sometimes sounds fuzzy . The songs were between grooves and more Death or old-school - death metal vary reminiscent passages. In some songs film samples are used and excursions into hardcore punk are characteristic. The band plays sludge, but is presented with the tightness and attitude of death metal. Benjen Merritt from metalobsession.net also reviewed the album and stated that Broozer did not slide into stoner metal or psychedelic rock like other sludge bands , but remained true to the genre. You use simple, pithy riffs and aggressive vocals. The riffs would look chaotic. In the songs, the group sometimes uses odd time signatures .
