Brwa Hekmat Nouri (born January 23, 1987 in Urmia , Iran ) is an Iraqi - Swedish football player . The midfielder played for several Swedish youth national teams before making his debut for the Iraqi national team in 2016 .

Career

Nouri came to Sweden with his Kurdish family at the age of one. There he began playing football at Vasalunds IF and made his debut in the Swedish national jersey in 2003 when he played for the Northern Europeans' U-16 national team . In 2004 he moved to the youth department of the AIK , where he won the Swedish championship title in the Juniorallvenskan with the U-19 youth team and temporarily trained with the adult team and played with them in training matches against other clubs. In October 2005 he made his debut for AIK in the second class Superettan , at the end of the second division season in 2005 he rose with the club to the Allsvenskan . There he did not come to the train, so that the club loaned him to Åtvidabergs FF for the rest of the season from the summer . After five league appearances, he returned to the end of the year, but was then given up to the then cooperation club Väsby United , with whom he rose in 2007 from third-class Division 1 to the Superettan. In the summer of 2008 he moved again on loan from AIK to the third division, this time to Gröndals IK .

In 2009 Nouri moved to the fourth division Division 2 , where he joined Dalkurd FF . With the club he rose to the third division at the end of the year, with nine goals this season he was one of the top performers. Also in the following years he shone as a goal scorer and preparer. After he missed promotion to the Superettan in 2013 with the club as runner-up in the relegation games against IFK Värnamo , he moved to the second division side Östersunds FK . Under coach Graham Potter he was a regular player straight away and rose with the team at the end of the second division season in 2015 as a runner-up behind Jönköpings Södra IF for the first time in the club's history in the Allsvenskan. While the club placed eighth in the middle of the table, Nouri advanced to the Iraqi national team and made his debut in the Iraqi selection in October 2016 as part of qualifying for the 2018 World Cup finals . After Alex Dyer's move to league rivals IF Elfsborg at the end of the 2016 season , Nouri was meanwhile his successor as team captain . In this role, he led the team to the final of the Swedish Football Cup in summer 2017 . With a 4-1 win over IFK Norrköping with goals from Samuel Mensiro , Hosam Aiesh , Alhaji Gero and Saman Ghoddos when Linus Wahlqvist conceded , he won the title and qualified for the European Cup . In the 2017/18 UEFA Europa League , the team then reached the group stage after successes over Galatasaray Istanbul and PAOK Thessaloniki . In August 2018 he moved to the Indonesian first division club Bali United FC
